Bocas gets good runs of Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel, and Snapper
The wind is very calm in Bocas during the Spring and Fall seasons
There are many rivers within the Bocas Archipelago that hold Tarpon and Snook at
certain times each year
Within a days journey to World Famous Rio Colorado Fishing lodges in Costa Rica
Within a days journey the San Blas Islands (378 islands) and fish the Vulcan Reef
(old volcano)
Un-chartered waters: Migratory path of the billfish from the Cancun trench to Venezuela-somewhere these fish pass by Panama (but yet to be discovered)
Low cost: Inshore boat--$250/day; Offshore boat--$650/day. Includes lunch, drinks,
bait, guide. Much less expensive than fishing on the Pacific side of Panama
