EXECUTIVE TEAM
JOE HALEY CEO/PARTNER PILLAR PANAMA
Joe Haley is a Partner and the President of Pillar Panama, a real-estate marketing, development, and construction firm. Joe leads the strategic planning and execution of all Pillar Panama's initiatives and operations. Joe has extensive experience in the development and construction industry, with 11 years of involvement across many facets of the business. He is also the President of Oasis Investments, a real-estate investment firm, and serves on the board of a landowners association.
Joe is an accomplished and versatile executive with proven success in senior management. Joe has held roles in a $5 billion corporation, a $10 million start up venture, and a $20 million privately held organization. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills are some of his key attributes. Joe has also demonstrated the ability to build and lead high performance teams that consistently deliver quantum results in sales, market share, and client satisfaction. Prior to joining Pillar Panama, he served as the Vice President of Sales for Esurg Corporation, a successful start up distribution Company.
Joe conducted research for over 8 years in the islands of the Caribbean to find the ideal location for the next hot spot, which he found to be in the islands of Panama. With his expertise in contract negotiations, property acquisition, partner creation, complex resort management, designing global organizational vision, strategic analysis, and orchestrating successful implementations, he is indeed an asset to the team.
Joe received his Master's Degree in Leadership at Skidmore College and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and International Business at Miami University.
SCOTT HARRIS
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT/PARTNER
PILLAR PANAMA
Scott Harris is a Partner and the Vice President of Pillar Panama, S.A.. Scott leads all Sales and Marketing related initiatives and operations. Scott has over 24 years of work experience in sales and marketing and during this time, he has managed and trained sales personnel for several different companies within the United States, as well as internationally. He has also been responsible for planning, marketing and coordinating various types of sales seminars and workshops.
Scott has proven his extensive sales and marketing skills by having started two multi-million dollar businesses in the past six years. As the Executive Vice President for what is now INVESTools, he helped turn a start-up financial education business into a $75 million dollar company in just a few short years. It was during this time that he was able to generate marketing and sales contracts with such companies as BusinessWeek, CNBC and Motley Fool. Now public, the company currently generates over $150 million dollars a year and climbing. During this same time, he was also a founder of the very successful marketing company, Generation Marketing. Scott also served as president of The Olive Tree, an import business he founded in 1991, and has managed sales operations for other seminar related marketing companies.
Scott is currently selling this project at Red Frog Beach faster than most any other development in Panama. He attributes this success to working with other key individuals who also possess his high degree of honesty and integrity, as well as to the incredible natural beauty of the island resort.
Scott received his BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT from Brigham Young University with a MINOR IN SPANISH.
