Red Frog Beach Resort Bocas Panama
Why Red Frog Beach?

Red Frog is, quite simply, a haven; it is the calm you seek in the hectic storm of life. Red Frog is peace. Red Frog is adventure and excitement, with
diving,
deep-sea fishing, exhilarating
surfing,
exploring adventures, and so much more. Red Frog is nature. Red Frog is security and relaxation. Red Frog is crystal warm waters lapping on pristine white
Panama beaches.
Because of it's unique geographical location, Red Frog offers a sea side with perfect surfing waves (the side of adventure, exploring and discovery), and at the same time a calm side with beautiful tranquil waters that bring new meaning to the term "sea of glass."
This dichotomy creates a paradise for every person. No matter your mood, you will find paradise in Red Frog. Red Frog is Paradise Defined.
Ultimately, Red Frog is your legacy to your family. Give them what you have worked so hard to obtain-paradise on earth. Explore this site and learn all that Red Frog has to offer.
Paradise
Paradise means different things to different people. Perhaps for you, paradise is the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you are in the right place at the right time. For others it may be simply not working. Still others see paradise as an exotic drink on a sun-drenched beach near the ocean. But no matter what your personal definition of paradise, it will most likely include a place of ideal beauty or loveliness, and a state of personal delight.
Paradise is actually a Persian word (pardes), properly meaning a "pleasure-ground" or "park" or "king's garden," which, in our humble opinion, is an accurate and succinct description of Red Frog.
Because of its diversity and variety, Red Frog is paradise-no matter your definition. Situated in the archipelagos just northwest of Panama, on the islands called Bocas del Toros, many have described Red Frog as "heaven on earth."
Protected Environment
Your key to Red Frog is its marina, which in itself is a paradise in the Caribbean. With room for over 70 vessels, this island-protected harbor entrance welcomes you to a waterfront village, waterfront promenade, and marina. The privacy of paradise begins here.
The archipelago of Bocas del Toro in Panama is ideally located on the northwestern coast of Panama, and until recently, it has remained a rather isolated region of this amazing country. For this reason, much of the island chain remains in pristine and untouched splendor. Whether you're a modern-day island explorer, water lover, or an outdoor lover of any kind, this paradise will spoil you with coral reefs, phenomenal surfing, deep-sea fishing, boating, kayaking, snorkeling and long sandy virgin beaches. And it's convenient-traveling to Bocas, can be as simple as taking a 45-minute flight from Panama City or as adventurous as going over land by bus and water taxi.
Fortunately, part of Isla Bastimentos (the actual island that Red Fog is on) and two cays of the Bocas del Toro Archipelago in the Caribbean Sea are within the protection of the marine Parque Nacional Bastimentos. This means these protected islands will always provide great diving, snorkeling and swimming, and a place for the turtles to use as nesting territories. Therefore, Bocas Del Toro is a destination unlike any to be found elsewhere in Panama.
The Red Frogs Proper
Upon walking into the rain forest on the island of Bastimentos, at Red Frog you will be amazed by a sort of symphony of rather non-musical chirping that sounds like it must be coming from crickets. When you look closer, however, you will be surprised to find that this strangely beautiful noise is coming from a small frog, about the size of your thumbnail.
But despite their size, you will have no trouble in locating these tiny frogs, because their entire bodies are intensely red in color. They sometimes have black spots, and sometimes not. These frogs are called red dart poison frogs (or on Bastimentos, simply "red frogs"). The Red Frogs are not a danger to humans, as the poison has to be injected into the body because it cannot penetrate the skin.
We consider these red frogs to be one of the smartest species on earth because they have chosen paradise as their home. We encourage you to follow their lead.
Lifestyle
With an average annual temperature of 82F, Red Frog is a haven for those who come to enjoy the idyllic beaches, and warm crystalline waters. Many of those who have visited Red Frog return year after year for peace and tranquility that come with perfect paradise.
The islands are populated by peoples of Caribbean, European and African descent. The dominant language is Spanish, but English and other languages are spoken in this destination area. Therefore the lifestyle found on the island is one of tranquility and warmth-paradise defined.
