RESORT OPERATIONS
Ryan Bullock
MANAGER OF RESORT OPERATIONS, Red Frog Beach
Ryan Bullock has been working with Red Frog Beach since August of 2006, and he has been involved in many diverse aspects of the Project’s development in the time that he has lived and worked in Bocas del Toro. Ryan joined the Red Frog Team as a Client Villa Specialist, serving as a liaison between clients and our department of engineers and architects to finalize villa emplacements, upgrade selections, and design specifications for outdoor living spaces. He has also worked with our Asset Management Department to initiate research and analysis projects on the Bocas del Toro and Caribbean markets in preparation for the development of resort amenities. Ryan continues to serve as our onsite representative for new and returning clients, and he also heads up the Resort Management Team in the maintenance and upkeep of villa lots and resort property.
Before joining Pillar, Ryan was already very well acquainted with Panama and the surrounding region. He has a great deal of experience living in and traveling throughout Central and South America, and he even spent some time enrolled in coursework within the legal studies department at a University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a student, he conducted extensive research for undergraduate thesis work on the global banana trade in Latin America, and he speaks Spanish fluently.
Ryan graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi’s Croft Institute for International Studies and Sally McDonnell-Barksdale Honors College. He majored in Spanish and in International Studies with a focus on economics and business in Latin America.
Sina Pfau
EXECUTIVE OF CLIENT SERVICES, Red Frog Beach
Sina comes to Red Frog Beach all the way from Germany where she first began developing a knack for customer service related work at a health spa and fitness center. She brings an extraordinary and unique balance of professionalism and charm to her job each and every day, and most Red Frog clients and visitors have had the chance to meet Sina during their visits to Bocas. Sina is a tremendous asset behind the scenes, and as our Office Manager she has fielded and responded to all incoming phone calls, inquiries, and website submittals at our offices in Bocas del Toro. She has also handled the coordination of flights, hotel and restaurant reservations, and boat and taxi rides for our Exploration Sales tours.
Sina has been a vital member of the Red Frog Team since August of 2005, and she has demonstrated a remarkable ability to multi-task and to always get the job done. Over the last several months Sina has been responsible for managing the finances of the Resort Management Department, and she keeps things running smoothly in our Bocas office with her aptitude for meticulously maintaining detailed records. In addition to all these skills, Sina is fluent in German, English, and Spanish.
Miranda Bussing
MATERIAL AND LOGISTICS MANAGER, Red Frog Beach
Miranda Bussing has been working with Red Frog Beach since September 2005, and has been involved in many areas within the operations department. Amongst others she was involved in the successful start up and launch of the facility department, which included the housing, cleaning and feeding of our hundreds of employees. She then assisted the Design Center staff with the development of an administration system that would make the ordering of furniture much easier for both client and the Design Center staff. Currently she is our Material and Logistics Manager, in charge of our 3 warehouses in Panama, all transportation and all of our facilities on the project. She is also involved in many other operations, within the Asset Management department.
Born and Raised in Holland, she came to Bocas in 2003, because she was ready for other challenges. In Holland she had been working for 4 years with Schindler Elevators, one of the worlds leading Elevator and Escalator companies and was involved in all the processes from sales to delivery. She has also worked in the tourist industry in both New York and Greece.
With a degree and experience in tourism, fluent in 3 languages, and extensive experience in the administrative area, she is a great fit to our Red Frog Beach project.
