Getting Here
Upon arrival at Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City, you will need to travel to Albrook Domestic Airport (PAC) to take a domestic flight to Bocas del Toro. The airports are located across the city, and the trip by taxi typically takes about 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic.

We recommend booking your domestic flight at least one month in advance to ensure availability, especially during high season.
Follow these options to reach the beautiful islands of Bocas del Toro. Our reservations team will be happy to assist you with any arrangements.
OPTION 1
Arrive at the Resort the Same Day
f you wish to continue to Bocas the same day you arrive in Panama City, your international flight should land early in the afternoon or earlier to allow enough time to transfer to Albrook Airport (PAC) and catch your domestic flight to Bocas.
OPTION 2
Arrive at the Resort the Same Day
Another option is to spend the night in Panama City and take a domestic flight to Bocas the following morning.
We recommend staying at the San Felipe Hotel, located in the historic district of Casco Viejo. Guests can also enjoy the Bocas–Casco Luxury Travel Circuit, which offers special rates and a chance to explore one of Panama City’s most vibrant and historic areas before continuing your journey to Bocas del Toro.
Arriving in Bocas Town
If transportation has been added to your reservation:
After arriving at Bocas del Toro International Airport, and once you have collected your luggage, a Red Frog Beach Island Resort representative will greet you holding a resort sign.
You will then take a short car ride to our Bocas Town waterfront office, where you will board a water taxi to the resort. Enjoy a scenic ride through the mangroves before arriving at Red Frog Beach Island Resort.
Departing Red Frog & Panama
If you plan to catch your international flight from Tocumen International Airport (PTY) on the same day you leave the resort, please allow at least 5 hours between your arrival in Panama City from Bocas and your international departure.
